Be it books, magazines, events, trade fairs or online services? Are you looking for a modern media company that has decades of experience in training young people and has already received several awards from the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce?

Then become part of a large and strong VINner team and apply for our 2½-year apprenticeship to become a

Management assistant for digitization management m/f/d

During your training, the main focus will be on familiarizing yourself with the company’s own IT systems and at the same time keeping an eye on the commercial side of your company as an interface.

Your tasks are often divided into individual projects that you have to coordinate. For example, you may have to decide which IT projects are to be implemented in the near future. To do this, you collect all the information from the individual departments. For example, if a new employee starts in a department, you are responsible for ensuring that their workstation is equipped with a telephone and computer and that all important programs are on the computer.

However, it can also happen that the controlling department approaches you because they need software for a specific task area. This is where your expert knowledge comes into play. Your first task is to consider which features the required software should have and which software currently on the market offers them.

Software in particular always costs a lot of money and now your commercial skills are required: you have to obtain possible offers and use a cost-benefit analysis to consider whether the purchase and use of software is worthwhile and whether there are possible alternatives. You usually present your results to the client and the responsible departments in a presentation so that they can come to a decision. If the client agrees to your software proposal, you will be responsible for procuring and installing the software.

It is then your job to train the department’s employees in the software and to show and teach them about the software in seminars. For this, it is important that you can also explain sometimes difficult IT applications simply.
